Just judging by the leaves, I'd guess that it's a Sativa-dominant hybrid. If it was pure Sativa the leaves would be quite a bit thinner and longer than they are. You think if you emailed the seed-bank they would tell you what strain their free seeds are? It's obviously no big deal if you can't find out, but if it was me I wouldn't be able to stand not knowing what I was growing. Just my OCD flaring up again...

Yea email the seedbank because that does look really good especially for 3 and 1/2 weeks. Nice man. When do you plan on switching it to 12/12?

Thanx for the feedback man, Im not sure when i will start to flower. This is the first grow and Im not to sure when is the best time to start. Do you have any advice? Also does anyone kno if the plant continues to grow in 12/12 or does it jus concentrate on growing buds?

When you switch to 12/12 your plants will go through a growth spurt. It's sorta like puberty for Cannabis :-D They're gonna shoot up an inch or more every day, so it's important to monitor them closely so you can adjust the height of your lights and prevent burning them. Depend on the particular strain and your growing conditions, expect your bitches to double and possibly even triple in size during the flowering period. I make a point to work with them every day during flowering, moving fan leaves out of the way of shoots from the lower part of the plant. The better job you do at manipulating the leaves and shoot to concentrate the light on the lower part of the plant, the bigger your yield and fatter your buds will be. Don't be afraid to pinch the stems of the fan leaves to make moving them easier. That is a far better strategy than pruning and removing the fan leaves. You're probably going to want to initiate the flowering cycle when your ladies have grown to a height of between 1.5ft-2ft. If I'm starting from seed, I veg for 6 weeks. If i'm starting with clones, I veg for 4 weeks.

That AgroSun light is going to put out quite a bit more lumens than your halide does, so be careful about how close you keep it to the tops. Try to make sure the temp at the canopy doesn't go higher than 80°F. The last thing you wanna do is burn the delicate new growth at the tops.

Thanx rolla u got some good advice. I was letting them get big, cause i thought they would almost stop growing in flowering. Now that I kno this i will probably start to flower real soon and see wat happens. A couple of em are 1 1/2 ft. so i will prolly start by the end of the month.

Keep in mind that as they grow bigger, they grow faster as well. The more leaves and growth, the faster photosynthesis can take place. If you're already at about 1.5ft, you may want to begin flowering sooner than you expected. At this rate, your plants will end up with a height of about 3ft-5ft if you started flowering today. Aside from running out of vertical space, the other concern with allowing them to get too big is the amount of light available to the lower portion of the plants. Since you need to keep raising the light to prevent the tops from burning, that means less and less light is available to growth on the bottom part of the plants. Add to that the shading from the fan leaves, and you can begin to see why I caution you against letting them veg for too long.
