I have best germination rate using temp controlled humidity dome, seed in the soil. The way it’s meant to be

You were very correct about membrane still being attached. I tried misting again to no avail, so I went back in with the tweezers. Managed to get all the membrane off and the sprout finally opened, but my cotyledons are basically all yellow. Fucked up a bit when I planted the seed. I didn’t bury it deep enough and when I watered it drifted the seed off to the side. Is it going to be a problem as it is before I transplant?

Plant deeper, 1/2 inch at least so the soil pulls the shell off. Leave this one alone, she should root fine. Easy on the water, wait til the cup is featherlight, she’ll find the water in the bottom in a day or two.
