Not sure if auto or photo

So I’ve got 2 seedlings that I got from different bagseed from dispensaries, one is kosher tangie, and honestly forgot the other.
Only found 1 seed in each and figured give em a go. Problem is I just realized I have no idea if these are autos or photos. I’ve only grown photos and could use some input.
Assuming they are autos, do I adhere to the photo light schedule? I was thinking they’d start flowering before any 12/12 switch, but once they start flowering should I switch to a 12/12 schedule or do I keep an 18/6 schedule.
Should I avoid up-potting if they turn out to be autos?
My plan is to transplant into 3 gal pots and then switch to 5 gal before flower.
Any input is appreciated

I honestly believe the only way to find out is keep them under 18hrs light, if they flower then they're autos. If they don't, well, you know, lol.

I've suspected for YEARS that dispos are growing autoflower weed.

Yeah if I would have to guess I’d say dispos are using autos. If they turn out to be autos do I keep them on an 18/6 schedule, or do they ultimately need a 12/12?

Autos don't need a shift in light time. Grow 'em at 18/6 then if you hit week 6 or so and they don't flower on their own you'll know they're photos and switch 'em to 12/12.

Autos flower automatically. They do not require a light change to initiate flowering. Any bagseed I have grown was always photo.

Point taken, also cloning is a huge part of commecial grows so yeah the "auto" thing doesn't pan out.

I feel for you if "dispensary" bud where you're at is from autos.
