I started the year with HPS but switched a couple of months ago to LED. Im using a 400 watt 4 bar with smd3030s and I love it. Its big in size covers 5 x 5 in flower. As much as I like it Im sure I will love the new 650w with 301Bs that arrived a couple weeks ago. Cant wait to try it out! It will be hard to compare the two but I got a cheap par meter of amazon and it will be fun comparing and learning.

You have a pic of the light u have this is what runs the 3030 chips I was trying to see if it was any good

Chuck, lights are as good as you can afford. Know your budget ask questions like you are doing and take your time. Its a big purchase for some (like me and many others) when life has so many other expenses and Covid has raised the price of our everyday products. When I first started my grow all I could afford was HPS..unfortunately two months later when the electric bills came rolling in 40% higher I found out I couldnt even afford those. I needed to find another solution. Im afraid a photo isnt going to determine how good a light is. But Ive seen a couple lights in photos I would give my left nut to have (Im not using it anyway) without even looking at the specs.

But to answer your question my 400w has 888 LEDs. I have a pic of it a couple pages back.

mars fc4800 has over 2000 leds.
 
Thinkgro W series, i have zero experience with these lights.. and i now have an entire room with them in it ,

16 x 20 with 12 fixtures covering a 16x 18 foot print

just kind seeing who has experience with them and what their experience was?

I have an associate running 4 of them. He hasn't had them long so I can't speak to longevity and build quality, but with Samsung 301 and osram reds there is a lot to like. He is 6 weeks into flower at the moment and they are putting in work.

Heard good things... just new to me equipment.

Nothings exactly the same... and the shits LEDs I ran in grows before wont be a comparison
 
All four boards in my flower tent are 12” to 15” away from trained flat canopy of buds, but am on the edge of LED light burn. Just keep close watch .
 
How close is too close depends on the strain. My previous strain could handle my boards as close as eight inches. Closer than that did not go well... The strain I'm running now can't take nearly as much light.
 
I have a 525 watt next LED. It is supposed to be for a 3 x 3. It’s so bright that I almost can’t run any more lights with it because I have to raise it up so far from the plants that it actually shines ON the other fixtures. But it definitely grows some big ass Colas
