You been over to the deals and steals thread? There's an updayday light that was on sale for $100 that just went back on sale for $130-140.

I actually got burned by a “ particular advertiser “ here ….. i tested a panel for them last year but they reached out about a bigger light to test and journal.

Got the emails and request for shipping and all that …. Went back and forth , then crickets. They wanted me to use my IG , review info , photos etc.

so take the offers with a grain of salt.

I went through the same shit with them!!! That's why it feels so good to win a light from them after all the bs...
But then again, none of us are getting paid for advertising these companies products and that's all we're doing... FOR FREE...

Same thing here. Started with a message here asking if I would cooperate. Asked what they had in mind. They told me choose any light they make.

Bottom line I got tired of their play really quickly. I was advised strongly by admin to keep my commandments to myself or find another forum.

Blurpies make a plant grow slow, too slow for my liking... And they will burn your plants if you get it too close... I'm in the belief that you have to use what you got, to get what you want and I feel that adding it to some led fixtures can't hurt...

Blurples aren't all bad. They'll add some UV. They're just tough to look at.

This is about all that cheap light is good for. I have 2 ww autos under it and the other under the blurple 600w. I don't have room for more than six autos so one more 1000/100w to switch out the blurple. No need for me to pay a lot more yet . Now if my wife would go for a tent and ......

I have adjusted the light spacing for a veg light, king of thinking (200 clones, 400 veg and 600 flower)
so my veg light 75w / 3.76ft2 = 19.9w ft2 (400 par)
364w / 11.8ft2 = 30.8w ft2 (600par), average not max


I have worked out a way to build these without the bulb holder and this could reduce the cost down to £100 each
quicker to build and I can design them for any room size.

once its in my flower room with the reflective walls, the light spread will become more even, but there still things i would improve on the next one.

For a cheap, but good light one of these would be great https://www.led-tech.de/en/ZEUS-308-XT-High-Performance-KIT-3500k 90€ for the board and say 40€ for a power supply. If you max out the board you'll get ~370umol/s which would flower a 2*2 nicely. I'm running four of those boards in a 2*4, but I run them soft for about a 1000umol/s combined.
