Planning on flipping one of my plants this week so I flushed it this morning because I think I'm supposed to. PH and PPM were both low. After the first runoff PPM was 115 and PH was 5.5. After the 3rd gallon of water ppm was 115 and ph was 5.3. My input water is 170 ppm and 6.3 ph. It's in a 5 gal pot with 50/50 ocean forest and happy frog. Been feeding once per week of FF Big Bloom and Grow Big at half strength. After flush I introduced Tiger Bloom to begin the full trio. In my feeble mind all I can surmise is that the plant is depleting all the nutes I'm giving as well as what was in the soil. Also wondering if I need to up the water ph to compensate for the apparent low soil content. Feeding ppm have been in the 700 range throughout.

When feeding salts you feed to runoff,never straight water.The idea is push out the old food and replace with new.
Running a bunch of straight water through is just starving your plant.
Since your runoff ppm was low your probably just feeding the right amount or slightly low.Runoff pH means nothing so dont concern yourself with it.
So feed to some runoff,next just water no runoff then feed again to some runoff..Dont let plant suck up the runoff.

Just where are people getting the idea to be doing all this stuff? You're right. It gotten completely out of hand. The only growers doing this worthless nonsense are cannabis growers. It's not that hard to grow a plant. If growing a plant was this complicated then a damn head of lettuce would cost $20 and a single carrot would be $5. There's nothing special about cannabis as far as growing is concerned. You're growing a damn flower. It's not that hard.

The pot is elevated above the pan so it's always out of whatever runoff there is. This is one of two random bag seeds and the plants are different as nite and day. This one appears not to appreciate the nitrogen in the ff nutes like the other one. I'll take comfort that my feedings are somewhere in the ballpark and I will adopt your suggestions on feeding/watering.

Also remember to never forget, use tonnes of cal/mag and flush every watering. Make sure to PH down the water into oblivion and remember to add ungodly amounts lime to balance it out. This is the standards in 2021.
