Trying to figure out a lite feeding program and when.

I'm growing a Green Crack Auto that is seed to harvest in 60 days. I was hoping this grow being so fast and somewhat small would show me some things about the soil I'm using, Ocean forest and growing without much inputs. (About day 10 they were transplanted from happy frog to 5 gallons of ocean forest.) I mixed in some remedy a week before and keep the medium moist until transplant.

Big Bloom was used once per week at half strength

At the start of flower I started lightly using the fox fam Open Sesame + Cha Ching + Beastie Bloomz combo as directed, probably a quarter to maybe half of what is called for.

At about day 40 i started to see yellowing of the leaves from the bottom. I assume this is a lack of nitrogen as they were really only getting what was in the soil and the plants put on some heavy growth given the timeline. I fed the girls a full serving of Grow Big for 2 straight watering. I think this has stopped the yellowing.

If I were to repeat this same grow, should I plan to feed for a week or 2 with grow big at pre flower or maybe before? Would you wait until some yellowing occurs?

I'm not comfortable yet with removing many leaves as these leaves saved my plants big time last grow during a major PH drop. Some day..

Not even sure where to start on this one ….

First .. by your feeding information / application are all wrong. No way you should be throwing all 3 of the supplemental flowering nutes - Open , beastie , Chaching together. They are to be used as “supplements to a normal bloom feed “ ….. they are designed for use over different stages of bloom ….early / mid late / finish stages.

Big bloom is the only organic of original TRIO notes …. GRO BIG for VEG - TIGER BLOOM for bloom. Big bloom feeds the microbial life within host medium. it also provides trace nutrients for plant …. But cannot feed alone.

autos do not need COMPLICATED FEEDS. FFOF alone would have been sufficient with periodic top dress of fresh soil simply watered in.

IMO , stop the unnecessary extras and top dress . Those fans have pretty much gave up the ghost on pigmentation and possible underperforming photosynthesis from them. You can end up stressing and auto very easily by throwing so much shit on it …

Thanks for the reply. Maybe my post wasn't clear.

"At the start of flower I started lightly using the fox fam Open Sesame + Cha Ching + Beastie Bloomz combo as directed, probably a quarter to maybe half of what is called for."

I'm using them as directed, not all at once. And actually much less than directed. Typically a quarter and sometimes I might have hit half of what the directions called for. Only once a week. I typically water every other day.

Im using big bloom for just that, a soil conditioner. Not a feed.

What do you think the yellowing was caused from? I sort of felt like they were just yellowing as they had served there purpose.
