20/4 vegetative light cycle

I'm not saying it wouldn't work. When did I say that? I'm talking about over all health of a pot plant. I'm sure 24 makes them grow. Never said it didn't.

I'm so glad u said all that. I've been looking everywhere for comments on 20/4 and all I find is 24/0 comments. I'm a new grower but I've found my plants reacted better to 20/4 than 18/6. I would never force any living thing to be awake 24 hours a day. I'm sorry but that can't be healthy for a plant. With everything you will lose something by trying to gain speed.
You think plants are conscious?

All I'm saying is I went to a 20/4 light cycle instead of 18/6 and increased my yield 30%. I just have a hard time believing leaving lights on a plant 24/7 is the best thing for a plant we care so much about.

If I'm wrong I'm OK with that. I thought a forum of pot heads would be more willing to communicate if it meant better product.

That's exactly what I did. 2nd generation now. First was 18/6 and they did well. 2nd was 20/4 and it increased 30%. I'm growing white widow now from seed at 20/4.
