There's nothing wrong with owning a gun.
What's a falsehood is that Democrats don't own them. All my friends can take care of themselves. They just don't make a big deal out of it. Most blue households I know of are ready to go.

I guess you got busy and forgot to answer a question that I had. It's OK, I forget things too sometimes.
I'm wondering if you think that everybody has to follow your way of life with a gun whether or not it makes sense for them in their area. I mean, remote low populated rural areas are pretty different from metropolitan centers with millions of people living different lives than you do. Why do you tell us we have to live by your rules that don't make any sense in cities.

I was struck by how ignorant those hicks were about other people and their own lives. What you say is true. There are plenty of people who own a gun for "protection" and don't feel the need to even mention it. It's not all that important to them.There's nothing wrong with owning a gun.

OTOH that isn't going to do much good against a tank or a missile. I'd prefer if we don't deal with invasion.

I mostly like to shoot my bolt-action rifles, so I don't need a ton of ammo and I shoot well-developed handloads

I like my weapons to be standard cal...12ga, .38, .45, 5.56, 30/06. Easier to stockpile standard caliber ammo and more likely to be able to source ammo from others or share when SHTF.

I think some people thought Red Dawn was a documentary and not fiction. Those kids really showed those commies though. Also why would country folk feel the need for open carry, is it really that dangerous? Are there man killing possums and stuff? I don’t think I’ll ever go for a pardon to travel south, seems way to dangerous if everyone needs a handgun for protection

100% true. Most gun deaths are not rednecks killing each other. Most (64%) are self inflicted. So there are quite a few rednecks killing themselves. Guns in the home increases the chance of someone in that house being shot. Like a kid shooting one of their friends.
