My next grow im thinking of using 10 gallon grow bags . I'm growing in 4ftx7ft tent , firstly how long should you veg to make the most of the grow bag size and second how many plants in 10 gallon grow bags would fit comfortably in this size of tent ?

One thing it depends on how much light you have.
At its peak .Optimally you should have 1190w to cover a 28 sq/ft area. Which yours is. 4 x 7. 42.5w Sq/ft
At that rate, with a fast growing strain, you could use about 8, and they now be to crowded. Vegging depends on the strain. If you have something that doesnt stretch much after flipping to 12/12 you will have to veg longer.
On the other hand of you have a strain that stretches alot after flip, veg time is less.

If you want a fast growing strain, with a good stretch Mr Nice Super Silver Haze would be a good start.

I start from seedling - veg with either a Gavita 1700e, or a 1000w Hortilux HPS. Sometimes a DE Gavita 1150w Ive useed them all at one time or th other. I flower with the same.
Veg the SSH for 4-5 weeks You should get a killer yield, and if you find a nice fast growing mother plant, harvest will be even better next time. I veg small clones/seedlings for up to 60 days, and I use 20 Gallon containers of Promix BX for flowering.
I use 32oz Uline Deli Containers for seedlings until transplant into 5 gallon buckets, then 1 week before flip I transplant them into 20 gallon containers.

4x7 tent? Is it a 4x4 and 7 ft tall?

What size are your current cloth pots? Why do you have them folded down in half? You might be better off just filling them up rather then increase their size.
Yea it's 4x4x7 .These are 5 gals filled to 3 . It was simply a matter of using what soil I had at hand. I'm moving in a month or two and don't want to be hauling half bags of soil around. But yes very true

It's going to be more interesting trying to move those plants in flower to your new place! :o
The date is not officially set but probably sometime mid February. That said I can can hold onto the keys until everything is moved so if necessary I can delay it. The building is being knocked down and basically they've told me give me the keys whenever . Rent it out I don't give a fuck hahah
But I have a few 175 litre stratta totes which they should fit no problem

I put the same size G13 x Haze clones in both a 5 gallon container, and a 20 gallon container. Both under a 1000w Hortilux HPS.This clone is known to stretch 6-7 times is size after flip, if given enough light, and soil. Ive had this clone since 2010.

The clone in the 5 gallon pot produced 5oz of weed. The clone in the 20 gallon container produced 22oz of weed.
The clone in the 5 gallon container stretched about 3 times its size. The 20 gallon container clone stretched 7 times its size.
The clone in the 5g pot used about 1 gallon of water every 3 days. The 20g pot, used 4 gallons of water every 3 days.

The clone in the 20g container used up ever bit of space for its rootball, as did of course the 5g container.

Also I vegged the clones under 1000w Hortilux HPS, and also vegged them both in 5g containers. I transplanted the 1 clone into a 20g container 3 days before fllip.

I'm not sure on the container size part but if you train right with a net as long as you have a good light with 4x4 flower footprint. One plant can fill it no problem especially with 2 months or more of veg. I am also curious why you would want to move one or more monster plants and risk shocking, stressing or breaking them. Those 3 in the pic the ones your going to try this with?
