Going to be trying some LST for the first time this grow cycle. Are these ready to start training or should I let them get a little bigger first?2CF09AD6-B5E4-4DDB-B409-A1FA01D3954B.jpeg

What are your temperatures and how far is your light hanging from the top of the plants?

They aren't ready to be trained yet, they need to have at least 5 or 6 node sets before you start messing with them if you want the best results. Personally I do high stress training and low stress training. TRIAL & ERROR is one of the most fun parts of growing weed.

I'm going to diverge from the current recommendations. You absolutely can start training them now if you are careful.

This spindly plant turned into a large bush.

Temps with lights on 80~83 with an RH around 56~59
Lights off temps 75~76 with a 56~59 RH
Lights are appx 18” above with dimmer set to 70%.
Last grow, which I’d consider my first real grow, I went with just topping, no LST or anything. This grow I wanted to try topping with LST and slowly learn different techniques over different cycles. I’ve seen some amazing things with super cropping and with HST, but reluctant to try them just yet.
