Stinky and the The Turtle are at war again.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell appears to give his support to Jan. 6 committee, telling Spectrum News: “I think that what they’re seeking to find out is something the public needs to know.”
All the ones they are going after are Mitch's enemies including Donald, 1/6 will get rid or silence them, Mitch won't get in the way, but will have "clean hands" with the base.

AKA McConnell knows they are screwed and abandoned that sinking insurrectionist ship.
He knows they are screwed and it's useful to him, so I wouldn't expect Mitch to get in the way, perhaps to limit the scope to protect himself and others, but he's cutting them loose.

Trump's Newly Issued "Statement" Suggests that he Knows & Fears that Justice is Coming for Him

Donald Trump is nothing if not transparent, predictable and consistently buffoonish. But his newly released statement is a huge tell. Reading between the lines - and the lies - it sure looks like Donald Trump believes he's about to be criminally indicted. Here's why . . .

Donald Trump was loudly BOOED when he told a mostly unmasked crowd of supporters in Dallas that he had received a Covid booster shot.
It's a death cult.
I imagine a lot of the qanon crowd waiting for JFKs second coming in Dallas were in attendance. Donald doesn't lead, but follows the crowd instinctively and is afraid of offending his base.

Trump sues New York attorney general
Former President Trump filed a federal lawsuit on Monday against New York Attorney General Letitia James (D) in an effort to block her civil probe into his business.

Trump's lawyers in the complaint attacked the investigation as an attempt to undermine him politically and charged James with violating the former president's constitutional rights.

"The investigations commenced by James are in no way connected to legitimate law enforcement goals, but rather, are merely a thinly-veiled effort to publicly malign Trump and his associates," the complaint reads. “Her mission is guided solely by political animus and a desire to harass, intimidate, and retaliate against a private citizen who she views as a political opponent."

The move comes two years into James's investigation into whether Trump's business has illegally inflated its assets to attract investors and win tax breaks. The probe is being conducted parallel with a criminal investigation being carried out by the Manhattan district attorney, Cyrus Vance Jr. (D).

Now to convince them that drinking antifreeze conveys unprecedented levels of protection.
