Feminized seeds: One and done?

I recently read that you shouldn’t clone plants grown from feminized seeds. The article said they were prone to hermaphroditism because you’re stressing out a plant grown from a seed that is somewhat fragile due to the way they feminize seeds. What are your thoughts and experiences with this? If this is fact, would revegging the plant grown from the feminized seed, also cause the same amount of stress?

Lots of growers want to find their females from popping regs.. but nothing is wrong with taking cuts, or turning a fem seed into a mother. No risks I know of that would prevent me from proceeding.

Fems are fine, you're only going to run into a hermie from careless breeders. I haven't seen one in years and I run a lot of fems.

Here’s what I read. I may have misinterpreted it. After y’all said that was nuts, I had to re-read. They’re saying mother plant and I’m not really talking about a long term mother. I’m more referring to a single round of clones, right before the flip. Thank you for helping me see the light

Take your cuttings and root them. I've never had a problem. Not saying there are none. Just that I've never experienced it.

Once upon a time people made fem seeds by letting a ripe female hang under 12/12 until it sprouted anthers and produced pollen, it's called "Rodelization." When you do that type of breeding you are selecting for females that tend to go intersex and produce viable pollen on their own. So there is a kernel of truth to the myth. However, nobody makes fem seeds like that anymore and these days a fem or regular strains tendency to go intersex is just a result of poor parent selection and poor/no testing.
