I think this is going to be my grow schedule to try next.

I will water each 3.4l potted plant with 1 liter of water every 2-3 days or how ever long it takes for the plants soil to dry.

The next water I have will be regular water. After that I will use 1/2 of the suggested nutrient dosage every other watering.

Sounds like a good Idea to me :weed:

Took some clones today. I know that i messed up on clipping the 1st one but I think that I was able to get the rest of them right. I put a heating pad that I bought for 12 dollars under the dome so that it can get some good humidity under it.

Hopefully they call root so that I can start flowering the clones in a week

So the last couple of days have been a great learning experience for me.Here are some of the things I have done.

* I have done my first flush

*I have also taken my first set of clones.

*I feel like I am learning when my plants need water and nutrients.

My plants are thriving and doing well. I think that I can actually start to tell sex of my plants but I am not going to try to rush it. I am going to wait and flower two clones from each so that I am 100% sure of the sex. I am reading a lot from other peoples blogs and learning about my plants. I appreciate the help from everyone.

Now it is time to wait and till my clones take root and then it is on to the flower. I will continue to veg the 5 I have right now.

Well done, humidity is getting better in the room, and clone dome dates sound fine to me maybe a little bit too warm but still OK.

I'm shure you are learning a lot from this grow, I like the way you try to get everything right with it...

Ok so some good news and bad news.

I was able to start to tell the sex of some of the plants.

There is 1 plant that I know for sure was a male so I went ahead and threw it out.

There are 3 plants that I am sure our females so I gave them some nutes and they are ready to go.

1 plant I am not sure of and I am going to keep vegging it until I can find out what sex it is.

HERE IS WHAT I THINK IS THE BAD NEWS
I have a clone trey going with two clones from each plant. I went ahead and took the clones out from the male plant that I discarded. I went ahead and opened up the rockwool and saw that there were no roots forming. Granted I am only 4 days into my clone rooting I WAS WONDERING IF I SHOULD BE WORRIED BECAUSE I SAW NO SIGNS OF ROOTS. IS THIS TO EARLY TO BE CONCERNED.

My 4th day into the clone dome I have between 90-99% humidity and a temp between 80 and 85. Moisture collects and I am just leaving the clones alone and not touching them at all. I have a heating pad on low below the clone dome.

I WANT TO KNOW IF I SHOUL BE CONCERNED THAT I DID NOT SEE ANY ROOTS FORMING AFTER 4 DAYS ON THE CLONES I TOOK OUT THAT WERE FROM THE MALE PLANT.

LET ME KNOW GUYS...

Don't worry, after 4 days there may be allre4ady some little roots or still not, that depends on a lot of things and I still wouldn't worry.

Anyway, can you upload some pictures of those clones?

So now you have seen my Venezuela, Mc Gyver, Fun grow^^
Don't worry it's not how I usually treat plants and I'm not even trying to get lots of weed^^

I will try to load some pics of the clones when I get a change.

Pretty sure that I am now able to tell that the one plant I was unsure of is a male. There is 1 little rod shooting out and I can tell it will turn male. Going to wait another day or two to get legit conformation.

UPDATE

Its been a little cold the past couple of days. Temperatures today have dipped between 73-76F with the lights on. Hopefully that should not make a huge difference. I am growing a purple strain so it might be helpful to have some nice low temperatures WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK? Do you think the low temperatures will effect the grow.

I don't know about the Farenheit... if its more than 20C with light on and more than 12C with the lights off its better than before 'couse I remeber it was to warm anyway... 24-27C with light on and 14-19C with the light off would be best, a little more a little less is not making a big difference.

Every more or less than this temps just makes slow down your grow, just if you get more than 42C Plants will take damage for overheat and at less than 8C they will stop growing.
Some strains can take a little bit more and some will take damage more easy but I guess you are not even close to this limits anyway...

If you have a Purple Strain, the only thing that might happen if you get down to less than 15C they could slowly start to get Purple, but thats not a Problem at all, it just looks nice :D

New Weird thing I noticed about my plants. I am not on a watering schedule of every 3 days. I watered them on thursday night and they were looking a bit droopy. After I watered them about 8 hours later in the morning they were standing on end. Now I am on Saturday 2 days later and I noticed the plants start to droop a little more now. The pots are getting lighter but not light enough to where I feel like they need water. When I water them tomorrow night they will prolly be a little more droopier but I know when I give it water they will perk back up again.

Should i be worried about the plants drooping or do you think that just means that they need water, or is that a sign of overwatering?

Let me know what you think

Usually plants beeing droopy is need of water, but after they had 600W for 18h or after being outside at a very sunny and hot day, sometimes they can look a little bit droopy even if the soil is still not very dry.

If you water them every second day 'till at least 10% of what you fill in runs out at the bottom it's usually fine...

The need of water with/nuts increases as plants are growing, if every second day watering slowly untill at least 10% is running out at the bottom is not enough, you should consider to transplant into bigger pots...

Lot of peps will tell you not to overwater or not water too often...
But when Plants allready have lots of roots and if you have good soil wich lets drain out what's to much, it's usually difficult to over water them...
Just when plants are very small and still have few roots, or if the soil is not good, it's easy to overwater...

Watering 'till some water or nutrient solution drains out has other benefits too.
It helps to maintain more stable the PH of your soil, and it helps a little bit like flushing to wash out a little bit the salts and minerals, and whatever else that's in the soil your plants don't need anymore. Usually this makes flushing almost unnecessary.

Checking the clone dome latley I have noticed that the humidity has gone down from 90-99 to between 70-80. Does this mean I should water them again or should the be ffine with 70-80 humidity with me spraying them every couple days.

Ok I will start to make sure I spray them a few times a day. Anything in the water or just regular PH'd water. also should I be leaving the holes open at the top or keep them closed.
You may use a little bit of fert in the ph'd water so they can get from the leafs what they still not get from roots...

You can let the holes closed so humidity stays high but if you are not going to open the dome and spray for some time you should open the holes for fresh air, but you have to make shure humidity will not go down... about 80% would be fine now at the beginning it should be more...

UPDATE....

Just took 3 females I had and put them from 1 gallon pots to 5 gallon pots. I used about 2 gallons of water in the initial watering, HOPE THAT IS OK, I used PH'd water to six and added some superthrive.

Anything else anyone can suggest to make them the best mothers ever, let me know.
