Lucky 13 Seeds and Dr. Seedsman

I grew out my first, rookie grow ever last year. I feel like I did a great job for a first grow and yielded almost a pound of quality, dried bud. I had every intention to post reviews online, but got lazy. On my way home from work today, an email came in asking for some reports on my last grow, from another forum.
I figured I'd write something up, but since RIU is my go-to forum and I mainly post and read threads here, I thought I'd share the info. I hope that's ok.

I'm new to this and not good at smoke reports at all, but I'll do my best.

Seedsman - Dr. Seedsman: Grows big, fast and easy. Very productive plant that makes better CBD oil than what I used to purchase from Canadian licensed producers. I chop up 30g of dried flower and infuse into 250 ml of MCT oil and get a super, high-quality medicine that's made me stop ordering it online at obscene prices. If you want to know whether it works or not ... it does.

Lucky 13 Seeds - Laughing Lion: Another nice, easy grow. Very relaxing when vaped but gave a bunch of us the giggles when smoked in a joint. Turned really dark purple just before I harvested it. Amazing, beautiful looking buds with a great, indica stone.

Lucky 13 Seeds - Korengal Kush: Big, productive plant. Very clean, clear-headed indica high. If you like Hindu Kush this is a great, great plant that I wouldn't hesitate to grow again. My wife really loves this one. By the way it grows, I feel like it would do great outdoors.

Lucky 13 Seeds - Grand Daddy Purple: Massive buds that are resinous as fuck. I loved how during veg it smelled like grape vines, but by the end of flower they smelled like grapes! Beautiful taste and very smooth smoke. Wicked strain, Lucky 13 hit a home run with it IMO. I'd grow this one over the original GDP any day and plan to have it in my garden a lot. This is a shorter, stockier indica plant with big, beautiful buds. Easy to grow. Great leaf-to-flower ratio. Can you tell I really like this one? One of my wife's friends wants to grow it in her backyard because she loves it so much. In my case at least, it keeps me asleep deeper into the night than most strains.

Lucky 13 Seeds - Peanut Butter Herijuana: Although I grew this one indoors, It would be a great outdoor grow because of the way the plant seems to grow. I would guess it's very mold-resistant. Very strong smell that's beautiful and sweet. Potent!! A couple I know who smoke OUNCES each week told me that they loved it, and their tolerance is very high. They said, "Wow, I can really feel this one." Another friend I have that's been smoking for decades told me he got really baked on PBH. Lots of rave reviews.

Lucky 13 Seeds - Angel '98: This plant has a stone that reminded me of the best Pink Kush I ever tried. Not the same, but in the ballpark. Body-melting, mind-numbing beauty. If you like strains that make you feel like you're floating, you'll love this one. Growing it, it was smaller and leafier than the other plants, but oh so worth it. What a great, great high that you feel all over. Night time knockout. I have a friend who's favorite strain has been Kosher Kush for years, and this one has become her new favorite. It needs some defoliation to allow for better air flow and so that more light hits the bud sites, so it's a little more work. Having said that, I'm definitely growing it again because I feel like the little extra effort this plant needs is oh, so worth it. My pheno had chocolatey highlights. Nice taste.

I grew these plants last year in my home as well as in my backyard. A friend of mine had a bunch in his backyard, too. We've gifted a lot to friends and the general consensus has been that these Lucky 13 strains are top-notch. My personal favorites have been GDP and A98, but everyone that's tried them has loved all of them. There aren't many L13 reports online, but ones I've read in Instagram posts by much more experienced growers have been similar to my own. The owner of L13 goes by the name of Professor Sprout. He seems really good at growing and breeding, I plan on growing his strains a lot in the future.

In hindsight, you're right, but I don't; I live 4,000 km away from them. My first grow ever, I found their website and ordered several packs of seeds. They were really helpful answering my newbie grow questions, I appreciated them for that.

My second grow was all PeakSeedsBC, I don't have stock in them either, lol, and my next grow will be loaded with Mr. Nice gear as well as Jordan of the Islands and Dr. Greenthumb.

I didn't have a grow blog on RIU back then because I was new to growing and didn't know these forums existed. I did post pics on my Instagram account though, you are welcome to check them out! My rookie grow has lots of posts there.

sounds like u have stock in the company. can you share the pictures of all these great strains you grew out please. thx
I tried documenting my summer indoor and outdoor grows in my grow blog, with tons of pics there my process. It's 13 pages long and I'm still not done. Pics? Here's one, it's such a pretty plant, definitely one of the best looking plants I've grown. I haven't tried it yet though, but will soon.

We just ran out of our last bottle of GDP oil, which we made at home from the L13 GDP that we grew.
My wife has already asked for me to grow it again!

Hopefully the GDP shows up sometime next week so I can get them prepped and ready to add to this years outdoor.. I plan to run the whole pack in hopes of finding the most grape pheno to save as a mother..

I have searched the net as much as I could trying to find info out about this company, there just is not much info or reviews out about Lucky 13 Seeds.. I will run their gear when it gets here and try to do a review myself for them so there is more info out there

Another strain you might be interested in from Lucky13 is Frostberry. It's a "Grand Daddy Purple x Purple Prozac x Blackberry Kush" hybrid. Okanogan Grape is another option with Grand Daddy Purple x Early Purple. Both of the strains mentioned here were chosen for flowering quickly with the Grape being the most potent choice according to the Lucky 13 site.

I haven't got a lot of info about the company but every thing I've grown from them has turned out great. I passed some of the Pineapple Poundcake to a lady recovering from cancer sessions and it settled her nausea down like no other weed she had around.

I’ve heard good things about the frost berry, I tried popping a few seeds but they flowered under 20/4 - not sure if they were stressed in some way or if the light wasn’t intense enough for them.

I'll try a Frostberry this spring and remember your post about light and keep the hours of light long to see what happens. It would be nice to veg to where I want before flower.
