good sealant that isn't hard to remove?

what is a good sealant to make things air tight but isn't too hard to remove? There is some kind of putty right? But I'm not sure what it is called.

maybe silicon? You can scrape it off pretty easy.

Never seen it like that... Only ever bought it in bricks.
