Been growing with clones for 4 years soooo need some advice from my seed popper buddies.

I germinated and planted these seeds at the same time, same conditions, same coco/perlite. I always end up seeing traits I don't like early off and as you can see one plant is outshining the others.

Strain: MAC Muffin Feminized (All 3 plants)
Environment: 75 °F - 55% humidity 24/7 due to winter
Growing Media: Mother Earth Coco/Perlite
Light: 6500k T5 4' Fluorescents

The one plant is exploding whereas the others are just runty. Should I give them a chance or toss them? I don't like growing slow plants even if they are dank my flower rooms only run for 60 days then the plants are chopped with my veg room cycle. Breeder states the plant is ready in 50-55 days of flower so 60 should be fine. When you get dorky seedlings do you toss them or give them a shot?

Cheers :bigjoint:

I planted 4 feminized seeds, two were fast and perfect, the other two, not so much......

Two nice ones turned out to be male (F'n lying breeder).

Let 'em live.

They seem overwatered. Plants need soil to dry out so roots can get oxygen. Don't water so often.

Right one seems to have some deficiency/toxicity. Have you gave them any nutrients already?

I'm Spartan about it. They fly or they die. With everything the same I'd suspect genetics are weak.

They have gotten 1.4 EC feed like I always run. May have been a bit hot cause I noticed they quit drinking as much after the last feeding. I also noticed the green algae forming and haven't watered since seeing that.

I'm letting them all go, I know the really fast growing one could be a male. They were "Feminized" seeds but we'll see.. Running these in 5 gal instead of 10 just in case I gotta toss em.

Since they're all the same strain, I'd clone the healthiest one only. But for this grow I'd probably try to keep them all alive, but that has limits.

I wouldn't count on them being ready in 60 days. Sometimes the runts and mutants can surprise you.
