They are also growing vertically.. It’s standard practice you use LST with mainline

Its actually LST, "low stress training" and it is common practice, but at the stage you are at if you leave those small side branches you are about to loose your main line effect. Those side branches are going to try to catch up with your MAINS because they are all pulled down almost even. You want your 8 mains to retain the apical dominance for them to become 8 large "single"colas.
Thank you, those 8 mains will retain the apical dominance, the small side branches will fill up the middle (lower) part of the mainline. I will use LST for this.. yeah it’s LST and not LTS.. thanks

cool glad you think so. I've grown many plants similar to that shape and watched how the side branching grew. I have done main lines before. I have used LST extensively, I have grown many different strains, and well over a 1000 plants in my time growing but I'm glad you know exactly what will happen with your plants already.....

Cool story, if you knew anything about me and my presence here on RIU you'd know that couldn't be farther from the truth. I came to RIU many years ago and was met with open arms by some really amazing growers who I was able to learn from. I always try to put that same kind of positive energy back into this site that I was shown. I have seen the hassles that Neoliet has dealt with, but I had no desire to participate in any of that nonsense. He seemed to be making a choice with his pruning technique and "LTS" which would steer his mainline goal in the wrong direction so I tried to offer some advice based on my experiences.
