I say go bigger than you need, you're likely to grow less getting started. A 4' x 4' tent is good, check the height of your room.

For # of plants what are the laws in your area? I'm restricted to 4 plants, which is good for a 4' x 4' tent. 9 smaller plants fit well too.

Pot size - 7 gallon for 4 plants, 2-3 gal for 9 plants.
