Just watched a video where the guy said the bottom of the leaves do not want light reflection from the light above. Example, a mylar sided pan on tent floor. This is my first tent grow. Can someone confirm, or is he blowing smoke? Pun intended. I would think its a good thing, but, what do I know.

It doesn’t bother anything as all tents I think have Mylar on the floors and lots of folks add side lighting so I think it’s just smoke

Done plenty of times - I cover the original reflective tent side with vivosun Mylar ….
Plants dig as many photons as it can get. Drip pan has been done too at various grows.

Reflective light is a lot different than direct light. I would leave it be. Plants don't need light under them.

Yes but to some people it is new. Not everyone has been a member for several years. Some of you really need to loosen up. Not everyone wants to dig through the search field and would like some interactive advice and discussion. That's the point of a forum! Go figure.
At the same time you guys will get annoyed when someone posts a question in the newbie section or general growing section but if someone were to bump a post from 2 years ago you'd be on their ass too. No matter what you guys all hate on everything and everyone that doesn't conform to your standards.
