Light leak and phone flashlight

I never said I had a problem, I simply asked if anyone knew more about this issue. I just wanted to know if anyone had looked into this further, and in the meantime take away some of my doubts about the phone light and regarding the fan led. Unfortunately I haven't found a definitive answer and as you could see even in this post there are those who believe it could be a problem and those who don't. I will always proceed in the same way and will always be careful not to give it light when it shouldn't receive it and just flash for a few pictures as I have always done and never had a problem, only this time I had this problem with the fan light and searching online I was getting more confused than I should.

The plant has had totally dark cycles in the last few months and practically since about a week and a half I have to leave an opening in the grow box for the dehumidifier to keep everything below 50% so at first I was already paranoid about this since the exhaust pipe leaves a crack open between the door but it seems that no light comes then I had to install another fan with this led and let's say that there I started to worry. . basically the second day I noticed the light and I fixed everything but I had to remove the tape because I needed to see the display and I fixed it with a piece of paper but this morning I saw that the light passed to the sides and I had to totally plug the screen so in total over a week were only 4 days with this light that bothered! Then I put the phone light in the middle because every morning I need to check the light even if only for a minute to be quiet all day at work ... and then every day I have to turn on the light whether the phone or the room to change just a moment the tank of the dehumidifier. In fact, if someone tells me that I can be comfortable I still investigate further! Many times I have also posted in other forums just to get many more points of view and not stop in a simple "quiet nothing happens". This morning I was listening to a podcast about the quantity vs quality of light for growing and they were talking about the fact that many people believe that the green spectrum goes unnoticed by the plant so you can use green lights to work in the grow room or just to inspect it... everyone is convinced that it is true and I have read this many times in many forums but the truth is that it's all bullshit!!! They confirmed that the plant can sense that spectrum and that the only way is to make sure the intensity isn't too high.

I am not scientist and if I look how my plant looks like just right now I should not be giving advices. So lets say ppl growing top Q buds saying its Okay, than it is Okay. I will keep covering all those cheap LEDs because only one person who did scientific studies over cannabis has risen his index finger when it comes to the light photons during dark period. It's still wise to exhibit caution. My opinion personally, it's sunlight you reeeally gotta watch out for; if you're not minding your blinds or curtains, a stream of light could be hitting your tent's zipper seam and bam, now you got reveg in the front of your tent.

I'll definitely always be careful not to let any kind of light in but I'm just saying that next time I won't stress about a little light, I'll always be careful about it and remove it but still don't get into thinking about what damage it has already done.
Fortunately the only window in the room faces a light well and it hardly ever comes in to touch my window directly and anyway I have the shutters closed and a layer of cardboard sheets right in the little crevices.

I believe I had issue caused by exactly this kind of thing. I am not growing as long as Bk and my skills are deffinitely not better than his, but I am not new to growing as well. You know that something went terribly into shit when you enter your room in full flower and your plants smell like grinded stalks… as I said they are better growers than I do so their advices are better than mine

If I can avoid it, I will avoid it. I will try to minimize exposure to light at night. Thank you very much for your time

I really hope I don't find myself in a similar situation brother! My mind travels and some times from a paranoia I build a movie about the consequences etc.. and I began to imagine finding myself in a situation similar to the one you described. I have had many problems in this cycle because the house is "new" (in the sense that I have only been living there for a short time) and I have had problems managing the humidity and temperatures because I have no heaters at home and so I have solved every problem and I have arrived at the seventh week having solved all the problems and now I want to finish this cycle without further problems

"I've heard somewhere" sounds very scientific

Bro, you don't have to put a lid on every pot.
It's not scientific, but it's enough to take precaution. I heard it in some podcast on youtube by professional growers, can't remember which one, maybe it was Chris from Mr. Grow It
For a new grower who needs a sure way to get a harvest it's not worth the risk, even if it's nothing to worry about.. Maybe when you have a lot of weed in your stash you can risk and experiment, but for now there's no need for it.

Checking on a sleeping plant, like opening a grow room door, or closet door isn't something I have experience with.

I do know that the gaps around collapsible closet doors, up to maybe 3/4 of an inch, don't cause hermie issues. I have a plant at day 36 of flower with some good sized gaps around the door edges and no problems..
