Removed a few awkward placed branches week into flower

9 days I started flower on the 2nd
You can't really do much training now, it could stunt the growth and really mess things up, the only thing I would do is top every shoot in the middle of the canopy, lift the side branches a few inches if you can.

you only have 5 days left of the stretch, going to slow down after that.

I can still top those shoots in early flower? I didn’t know tht, and why lift the side branches ? So the canopy can be as level as possible ?

Yeah I don’t plan on doing much other than what I’ve said I’d just like to not have it tht cramped but yeah I’ll lift the side branches just a bit and get it even as possible with the canopy

You want to slow down the growth in the center and raise the growth on the outer edges, all lights have a stronger light in the center and less on the edges so you need to get the edges closer to the light. I don't top my plants after 2 weeks in flower(12/12)

If it's not getting any light, the plant will yellow out everything on the branch and you can cut it if you need to. I wonder if those branches supply nutrients to the rest of the plant - so I am growing increasingly hesitant to prune underbrush.

It does not work like that, if some shoots receive low levels of light, the shoot will stretch, the leaves don't turn yellow.
