Whose crying? Some people have to be put down like rabid dogs or caged, it's just a fact of life and why we have prisons. If the fight for liberal democracy involves cracking heads I'm Ok with it too. Another fact of life is some people are victims and some are victimizers, some are even both.

The Nazis were handled, and if something like that were to happen again, I'm sure they will be dealt with accordingly. We're not talking about that are we. We're talking about people you categorize as Nazis to suit your political ambitions. I'm sure there are some, but not many. They are a distinct minority the world over, and are suppressed simply by numbers alone. You're just using history as a shield for your own questionable behavior.

Seriously, you're talking about exterminating people based on your judgement of their worth in society. Nothing Nazi about that, lol.

Don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good Burt. Some of these people will need to have violence used against them, they will force the issue and if they were armed, it might come to deadly force. We are talking about an area where civil law and discourse breakdown and it`s usually those on the right who are violent. America is entering an era of cold civil war and we are caught up in it, the people on the right operate outside the law and good faith. They are not partners in democratic government, but are at civil war, it won't look like the last civil war in America either, more like the "trucker occupations". In America they will be armed to the teeth, in Canada the cops will lead them away in cuffs.

I know what democracy is and more importantly I know what liberal democracy is and that sometimes involves busting heads. Look at these people in Ottawa, they bear a striking resemblance to those lunatics who showed up in Washington on 1/6. Keep virtue signaling Burt, but you you won't get the moral high ground so easily!

I support anyone's right to peacefully protest, even if I disagree with them morally or politically. That's what a liberal democracy looks like to me.

We aren't at war with anyone/anything but our own egos.

I support people's right to peacefully protest, but this has devolved into something that deprives others of their rights, they had enough time to make their point, even if they never really had one. We do far worse to natives and labor and if those groups tried what these fascist assholes tried, their heads would have been broken on day one and I'm a life long union member. Less than 10% of the population does NOT dictate public policy and since we tried reason, it's time to do something else, that something else should have been done a week ago.

The Nazis were also the minority in Germany in 1933.

I don't know anything about this stupid convoy, nor do I care.

There are a lot of things I disagree with when it comes to the government's handling of covid policies, but you won't see me living in a tent in Ottawa or sending Email transfers to grifters monetizing peoples personal convictions. You also won't see me giving a shit about some fringe nutters yelling Nazi either.

The west needs to grow up and accept "no" for an answer sometimes. Both sides are guilty of this.
