i don't see him as the knight though, more like the king....of which needs to be checked and then mated.....

Yeah, I thought that AE series "Segal Lawman" was kinda strange,image rehabilitation or something,as for UFC it's a name recognition $ thing IMO and I only watch the free stuff and there is some underlying shadiness in the organization, much respect for what it takes to be in that game for the athletes though.

I love the sport, shit I even love Rogan's announcing of the fights, but hate the UFC and Rogan for selling out to the weird right wing propaganda.
I really hope a real platform for the world class fighters step up and set up something right.

they filmed one of his movies in Louisiana, my wado ryu teacher lived just down the road and went to watch a few scenes being filmed outside...he said seagull was pathetic, and mean spirited, taking his failures out on the extras he was fighting....that he was a semi talented dancer, who could replicate what he was taught fairly well, but with NO expertise, and that any second year student should be able to kick his ass down the block
Yeah,I used to like how Pride in Japan had a 10 minute 1st round,then 5 minute rounds after that,liked the strategy better. For sure it's a Rep. leaning organization w/King Dana at the top of the pyramid.

I do like the octagon over the ring, but agree with Pride being great too. Really any of the organizations have a lot of great fights, hopefully the UFC gets their shit together, but I am not holding my breath because I am guessing they have a lot of foreign money flowing through their coffers that demand the propaganda. I can't see any other reason they would hype up Seagal so hard if not for that, there is literally no reason otherwise.
I agree,,I didn't like the ring in Pride just the round structure,they didn't have the no kicking the grounded opponent rule,crazy soccer kicks and stomping was allowable,surprised no one was severely injured,maybe Segal went to them to suck up, I mean the Rock was there posing during that BMF BS w/Diaz and Masvidal,King Dana prob. figures a little celebrity shine can't hurt the brand.
