usually when the plants are getting near to being done the hairs will die and turn brown/ red some people use it as a guide as when to harvest i.e harvest when 75% of the hairs have changed colour. However with sativas with longer flowering periods they can appear ready by the hairs however in the last few weeks more white hairs may come up, best way to tell is get a microscope and check the trics, there is a guide in the harvesting and curing section that explains in good detail about harvest time. Hope this helps

the trics should be packing on tbh..... could just be the strain but i can usually see them buy eye easily by the second week of flowering... any light leaks that could be causing it to re-veg and therefore not pack on flowers?

Its definitely not because its done Grade, look how loose and fluffy the buds are, they should still be growing. Its browning for another reason.

What are you feeding the plants, what medium are you growing in, and is it happening to one plant or all of them?

How often are you feeding them?

And did you flower these strait from clone? My clones usually go through a massive amount of veg growth in the first month, and they use a LOT of nitrogen, Iv had mothers start to grow a bunch of single point leafs, eventually they return to normal growth. I would imagine flowering from clone would only increase the major nitrogen deficiency from all the growth because of the low nitrogen in flowering nutes.

i never said it was because it was finished, if you read the post i went on to say they can have a second burst of life if you will pushing out new white hairs therefore it is not done! and i also said go by the trics not the hair colour as it can vary.....

Those plants are definitely not done, and they're not past done either.

I haven't seen weird growth like that myself, but if they were my plants I'd be doing pretty much what you're doing. Let them grow, try not to stress them too much, and just let them finish up. Cut off anything that you don't think would be good to smoke once you take them down, it ought to be fine.

Well if it's supposed to need 4 more weeks it's not done no matter what anyone says. You can shave some time with optimal conditions, but certainly not a month.

As far as the trichs go I can't be much help. I'd just be patient and keep watching. Don't worry too much about the "schedule", Ma Nature keeps her own schedule and doesn't really let us in on it. Wait for the plants to be done, don't worry about the calendar.
