Hey that won’t work, the pointy end isn’t facing down
Sideways is how I roll.Hey that won’t work, the pointy end isn’t facing down
I use my hands and try for tap root down. If it doesn’t land down I just cover it anyways. It’ll figure it out I promise. Tried the tweezer method in the past and decapitated a seed trying to face taproot down. Have yet to have a problem with using my god given digitsI have seen some videos that suggested to use tweezers to plant seeds.
I've also seen that you should definitely plant tip down, because that's where the butt is, where the tap root will come from.
But do you all use your hands, or tweezers or another method?
I've always planted garden seeds with my fingers into soil, but that was for vegetables.
Just curious on this.
Thanks
I've seen people use the tweezers to take off stubborn pea shells. In a few videos.I don’t know about superthrive. The water soak is to give the germ enough moisture to sprout, especially useful with older, improperly stored seeds. They float, then sink when the kernel is ready. My experience anyway. Soil depth helps pull the shell off, nothing worse than a strong hinged helmet head, but again a drop of water helps there too.
Look on YouTube, it's real. This can’t be real. Make a hole, drop it in.
True, but some have lost their digits and They have to adapt. That’s why they were given
Thankfully my organic soil has worm castings.Hydrogen peroxide soak can help , I don't know the ratio though.
Also a little worm castings can help too, but not if using h202
Very pretty plants!Sideways is how I roll.
This I can understand but not touching the seeds with bare hands and pointy end down stuff is YouTube stoner gold. Did you catch the one on sexing seeds……True, but some have lost their digits and They have to adapt.
Wait what?Drop of water on the hinge will soften it. They usually come off naturally. The last thing you want to do is force it somehow.

They have a tip?Do you plant your seeds tip down?
Yeah they have a tip:They have a tip?
Honestly you are putting way too much thought into this.
The point is where the tap root comes out, the other end is the hinge. Just google cannabis seed orientation, opinions vary.Wait what?
Where's this diagram from?
