Tweezers And Tip Down to plant seeds?

Honestly I'm seeing posts here from the past that say..tip up, not down...

I'm not overthinking, I'm just wondering why people are suggesting different methods.

down, up, sideways, pointed 38 degrees Northwest on a blue corn moon. Pretty sure it doesn’t matter the least bit, sprouts will figure out which way is up like they have always done in nature since the beginning of time.

I think the moon phases matter because that affects tides.

I think tides matter too because seeds have water and so the soil.

We're made up of like 78% water too.

You are overthinking it. The orientation of the seed does not matter.

People say a lot of stupid things that's why. You'll read posts from the past that tell you that driving a stake through the main stalk before harvest increases THC. Not everything you read is true.

Well there's a lot of people that seem to have videos about tip up or tip down.

So I'm going to go with tip up so the Tap Root has a chance to curl. ☮

Yup. That it will..

But the stalk will be less accurate about coming up in the center of a medium in an environment where space is at a premium and spacing is most crucial. An autoflower SOG setup for example. Being inaccurate there can effect air flow characteristics and thermic uniformity and function of the canopy.

It really doesn't matter what position the seed is in when you plant it. I just planted my next crop and didn't pay attention to it at all-you won't notice a difference. As for tweezers, that's a bit excessive. Cleanliness is important when germinating, but a good hand washing before touching your seeds is all you need. I always soak my seeds for 12 hours in a diluted hydrogen peroxide solution just to give them a clean start. Just plant them direct to media, skip any paper towel or other "Pre-germ" methods, keep warm (80 deg is perfect) under a mild light, and your seeds will sprout within 24-48 hours. Rarely they will take longer than that, if the seeds are older or have an especially thick coat or if the temps are cooler than ideal.
