I planted a Girl Scout cookies seed along with other strains, but the gsc sprouted hunched over. I’m afraid it’s gonna die. I have no idea what I did wrong, but none of my other plants have done this? Does anyone have any suggestions?image.jpgimage.jpg

Sometimes they just don't make it bud. I'm sorry. I'm having dampening off problems as well, but we keep trying. Odds are, there was nothing to be done.
Now, I do see her still trying so don't give up on her just yet.

Thank you, I appreciate the fast response. Kinda upset that I can’t do anything about it, but if it happens to everyone I can’t complain. Trial and error.

No bud it’s a pretty common thing. You know negative positive. Positive being good a negative being bad lol. The dome on an seedling after it’s broken soil actually will become a negative if left on

Things like suffocating it, cooking it, and dampening off is what will happen if you were to keep a dome on it now

I hate the analogy but think dog in a hot car
Yeah that actually makes perfect sense, rn I have 2 humidifiers in the tent because even with the exhaust fan on the lowest setting it’s hard to get the humidity to 75%. That along with the domes and I probably water way more than I need too I thought maybe I was drowning them especially if they don’t require much rn

You’ll be ok at 60-65% imo if you can keep that in your tent your ok . Domes are put on seed trays to keep media moist and warm for germination. And to ensure humidity is sufficient. You slowly remove it little at a time for a couple days then the dome is gone

It'll open up in 12 hours or so. They first come out of the soil with closed cotyledons.

EDIT:

Upon further inspection you can see some of the seed membrane stuck on the cotyledons. You can either wait for the plant to grow out of it OR gently mist the membrane and after a few minutes gently remove with a pair of tweezers.
