Easily. There isn’t any root structure or stem strength yet. It’s still some where in the pot just buried. Same way seeds get washed out

Not sure. Depends imo. If it was just emerging I’d say probably if it was like your comparison photo imo less likely

Let me ask did it disappear while you were watering or it vanished sometime after. Could you see it when you put the water down?

If it was there and standing after water imo something else happened. If your cat didn’t get in then I’d check for pests or rodents in my grow

I am a big fan of watering seedlings from the bottom for this very reason. Baby veggies, cannabis, makes no difference. I see people underwater starts so there's just a pool of dampness where the seed is, meanwhile all the rest of the medium is bone dry. Even spray bottles can inadequately moisten AND knock your babies over under the weight of water droplets. My method is small pots in an incubation tray. Water the tray and let sit. Remove remaining water in tray when tops of pots are visibly moist. This way you KNOW the pot is properly watered and you don't bury or break anything.

1st pic the pot is blue, 2nd pic the pot is white...?

Anyway have you tried to un-bury it yet? By the time they're growing their first true leaves they have a pretty decent tap root, they're not going to just float off...
OP had 2 sprouts originally.
