Hey Folks!

Sunshine here!

All 3 of my Purple Haze ✨✨✨☮☮☮

Have Sprouted, but I'm needing advice on one of my little ones.

She's not as happy as her sisters and brothers and she needs some more lovin'.

Temperatures are good, humidity is good, light par/umol is about 212 on this particular plant.

The other two are doing much better, the umols are 300 in the middle and the other on the right is at about 190 umols/par level.

Everything is 24 inches from the light.

So I'm wondering if this is genetics or just heat at the soil level or something else I haven't considered.

I'm kinda concerned it's damping off, but I treated my soil with southern AG bacteria organic fungicide (which helps with many bad pathogens and fungi)

So looking for some helpful advice.

Maybe she just needs more time to come out?

Her stem is more yellow than her sisters and the seed is still covering her leaves.

They popped out of the soil yesterday!

So I just watered all my plants a little after I took this photo.

I understand water can help remove the husk.

I also know too much water is bad for Seedlings and I really want to save her from dying.

you can remove that yourself. just with slight pressure crack the seed and it’ll break into 2 pieces and you can pull it off. but don’t apply too much pressure or you’ll damage the seedlings. its a delicate job. also don’t be afraid to take pics in focus. you can really accentuate your subject if its in focus.

This Camera on my phone is a little finicky.
:?

I'm not that comfortable with touching the seedling right now and I just think it's a little too soon.

I know how my fingers are lol... :P

I'm going to see if if it will come off on its own and give it a day or two because you know they just sprouted yesterday on the third day.

yeah you can also spray the seed to soften it up maybe it’ll come off easier like that. by the way i do the cracking shit regularly its not a big deal but you know your fingers better than me.

Here's more realistic pictures of the weaker seedling. This shot is from above, to give you an idea of how small she is.

Can barely see her.

its opening up on its own i wouldn’t worry about it but you can spray it for a couple of days for good measure and why are you in such large pots? its very easy to overwater in those giant pots

I've done it before with like watermelon seeds outside, but cannabis is a delicate gal.

We'll see.

I could try some tweezers.

Because I'm not planning on transplanting.

It's a good thing that I have a whole bunch of meters.

I have my moisture probes and my fertilizer probe (4 in 1 with pH)

soil temperature probe, digital pH meter, soil test kit, etc.

I hear you though.

But I'm watching the water Level.

I have plenty of ventilation and heat and my pots are do-it-yourself airpots with fabric.

I definitely wanted to make sure that my plants could breathe and that the root system gets plenty of air.

I have found that the four and one meter does a good job of telling me how moist or dry the soil is.

But it's definitely a learning experience.

your call of course but transplanting is not bad for them or anything. they build a solid root system in small pots and it explodes when you transplant but personal preferences i guess.

If I get a bigger place with a grow room tent I might consider that.

I'm developing a good Organic Soil so far

I got all the microbes and the beneficial fungi two different bacterias to treat fungicide and pathogens as well as some mosquito bits for the fungus Gnats I had.

My soil contains a pretty good mix it's got cocoa it's got perlite it's got vermiculites It's got a lot of organic matter like, worm castings, feather meal and bone meal and blood meal and alfalfa meal.

The only thing I'm missing now is a dehumidifier. Trying to get a deal on one that fits in the window.
