Will too much nitrogen in flowering cause the final taste to be awful and bitter?

Yes I think so, too much nitrogen in flower has a few other negative effects as well like slow flowering and smaller buds. Do you currently have a problem with a plant/s ?

To much of anything it detrimental to the plant, or people.

Flushing is a myth, and has no verifiable scientific evidence.

Not enough Nitrogen will also cause small buds, among other things.

Balance is key.

too much nitrogen causes foxtailing in sativas but bad taste no i dont think so
i only had one unsmokable weed and it was my second grow years ago and i dont know what i did to it still but it was crackling and burning my nostrils like salt water totally unsmokable
