Cooler temps cant hurt at night but its mainly down to genetics more with many strains so if it's a purple pheno its purple if it's green it's green if it's mixed green n purple its that pheno etc
I'm growing Purple Haze and I'm planning on cooler temps, especially in the flower stage.

It does of course come down to genetics but genetics are only part of the mystery that create the shades of purple.

It was possibly gangrenes and oxidation of the deceased matters ferrous and carbon bases as they expressed to atmospheric variants upon structural failure of cell walls at time of terminal orgasm.

Wash your crevices!
It might have been posterior oxidization.

Gotta watch how you treat your plants ;-).

Just lower your temps and water with colder water to help bring out the purple. My Purple Urkle went all purple on me with this method and so did my Granddaddy Purple, Sensi Star, and Chocolate Mint OG (almost black)
I wanna agree with this but……I grew four strains in same tent and only one went purple though. That being said I think genetics plays the biggest part. It’s happened few times to me now. This will be first run all same strain. With a twist tho. Same strain different breeders.

Just grow your plants without any ice water baths or other methods that some use to try and bring out the purple. Cold typically just changes the color of the leaves and not the buds so you still end up without purple bud once you trim it and the cold can have a negative effect on the overall growth, yield, and potency of the plant.

There are plenty of strains that will turn purple regardless of cold or other things people do. Just focus on keeping your plant healthy for the best results. If the flowers turn purple then they turn purple.
