I wasn’t sure where to put this, but just wanted to let people know to stay away from Ardent. The FX glitches out and continuously does decarb, cool down, decarb, cool down, and so on. So, if you throw a bunch of shatter in there and wait for the green light, you’ve wasted that shatter. Then when you contact them and they acknowledge their devices failure, you have to pay to ship it back and have it inspected. Did I not pay enough when I bought the machine? Also, the massive amount of burnt shatter adds to the cost of this boondoggle. I’m so sick of cannabis related companies. I’m seriously done buying anything besides grow essentials.

Too small? Damn, I've done 85 grams of dry sift hash in mine and several ounces of herb at one time.

edit- Oh, I see you have the Nova, I have the fx.

BTW as a caregiver I use my Nova fx a lot, probably 2 or 3 times most weeks. This week I decarbed gelato, wedding cake herb, 9 lb hammer hash and some rosin. And it's a year and a half old. No problems at all.

IF it broke I'd buy another but for normal user I might check out some of the newer cheaper options on Amazon., I'd never go back to an oven though.

I use a Nova, one of the smaller ones. We make some coco oil once a harvest and the Nova is indispensable decarbing. I think.

The Nova is horrid for decarbing for smoking or vaping, but great for doing an oil extraction.

Why decarb for smoking or vaping? I do like the ability to just set it and go and the end result is always consistent and works for my oil extractions too.
