First setup w/ tent - what do you think? (pics)

Too small to tell much but be careful to not
overwater at any time but especially at this stage.
Look ok for a seedling. Your so early in yet. Take Hot Rods advice. A lot of people drown seeds. I myself am guilty of it in past.
Ok no overwatering - duly noted.
I think I may have been giving a bit too much too, so this might be life saver advice.

In a tent that small I would consider putting 1 gallon bags in wall to wall. Just enough space they’re not touching. Germinate right in the bag. Veg 3 weeks and flip. No topping. No training. Strip everything but the top 3 nodes.
I'm not certain of what flipping means, but I'm assuming the concept you're saying is - Veg 3 weeks in 1 gal bag, let it grow high without topping/training. Then cut everything under top 3 (assuming you keep top fan leaves) - bloom the hell out of top. Cut. Restart process ?

Yep. Just grow killer top colas. The few side buds would be good too. Flip is switching to 12/12 to flower. Veg short, flower long.

Yes and make the first feeding after flipping a full veg feed. They’ll need it for the stretch.
Noted for the first feeding too.

it all depends on your space. Figure your plants will double in height once you flip. That being said you have to use your judgment. Take into consideration how far your light has to be away from top of plant.
Yeah, keeping that in mind. I know there's a simple formula for plant v.s light height after flip, but with 6.7 feet high, i'm not too worried when time comes, just don't want them to overheat and slow grow because of it. I was aiming about 2-2.5 feet veg, 4-4.5 feet bloomed like I've had before. Just really don't want it taking as much time - I assume some conditions were not perfect for it to take this long.

That 400 watt HPS is going to make some heat.
Definitely a battle I have right now, adjusting the temperatures so they are more stable. I put the HPS higher than the LED and made sure fan blows lots of heat up and another exhaust out of it, but this also hinders on humidity.

what’s your exhaust fan?

Because you said you have 2 Honeywell 18CM fans

Like these?

Extraction fans look like this usually attached to a carbon filter and then ducted out of the area you’re growing within.

Yeah will try to find one similar that is somewhat budget. Maybe you'd have some recommendations? Doubt I'll get a bigger tent than the current, although who knows. Hehe
