hello.

auto white widow. end of first week of flowering. i noticed lower little leaves was yellow. it was easy to pull off. and two big fan leaves from bottom started to dicoloring and yellowing. also lower and mid leaf tips are yellowing now. here is pictures.

last two days light was too close to top but now hanged it far away. also one of leaf tip a bit brown and yellow.

light: 1000w HPS
Schedule: 20/4
medium: soil
nutes: advanced nutrients grow micro bloom

any ideas? N deficiency? light stress? what to do?

Yellowing of the stalk tips looks like Fe deficiency. Older leaves yellowing could be N deficiency. It doesn't look like light burn. Can you better define light-fixture distance than "too close" and "far away"? What kind of soil/potting mix? How often are you watering? Do you use the nutes with every watering? What strength? How do you measure them?

soil is regular organic soil.
pot size 20 liters and watering with 6 liters of water each time. i water until i get good amount of run off. it takes 4-5 days to get 2-3 inch deep of soil gets dry.

using advanced nutrients grow micro bloom fertilizer. using company chart (4mL each for entire bloom)

pH is 6.3 but last time i realized it was 6.5 for first few liters. then i fixed it to 6.3 again.

also i have Autopilot XXL and it shows same signs but its stopped.

1000w HPS was 30cm away from top but now its around 50 cm. its highest spot i can hang.

should i increase feeding or what to do?

I would gradually step up my feed now. Ph really shouldn’t be a issue growing a good soil

6.3 is low ph for soil check out the soil nutrient ph guide. Using liquid nutrients that are readily available to plants ph has to be on point to allow for proper nutrient uptake. If in flower 6.3 is near missing phosphorus. Try raising ph to allow more nutrients to be available. 6.7ph is what I used when I used liquid nutrients every 3 waterings or so I'd dip down to 6.3 just to grab those extra nutrients more available at a lower ph. If the issues persist slightly feed more and more I used to follow this ppm grow chart when using liquid nutrients.

Honestly? Remove those yellowing leaves and a few more mature fan leaves in the lower canopy. Open air flow. Reduce PPM's of nutes in water by about 100 PPM.

6.0-9.0 is tolerated by plants in a live soil. Use tap water if city.

You're using hydroponic nutrients which are designed to not need any pH adjustment per the company webpage. How do you adjust the pH? Maybe a better question is why?

The company asserts those nutes work with any potting-mix type, but I'm wondering if there are organic amendments added to your "regular organic soil". Did you compost it yourself? Dig out of the ground? Buy it in a bag? Have you tested its pH?

Leaf drooping is commonly caused by overwatering or too much fertilizer. Are you using a teaspoon to measure your nutes or something else? Just going with data on the company page and your watering volume, 6L of fertilizer at 4mL/L = 24 mL each of grow, micro, and bloom, for each plant? How do you measure 24 mL?

My best guess at this point is that you're overwatering and your pot size is too large for the plant size.

measuring nutes with pasteur pipette. as i said company chart says 4mL of each nute for each liters of water. its automatically reduces 8.3 pH water to 6.3 pH. also nutes i am using can be used for soil too. thats what company says.

overwatering? could be. but thread is bit wrong. leaves are not droopy but they are dropping:) my phone corrected it as droopy. i realized it now lol.

leaves are not droopy but they are discoloring and easy to pull off. but its looks like stopped. i mean nothing about discoloring on mid and upper leaves. but almost all leaf tips are yellowing.

as i said i am watering them when 2-3 inch of soil from top is dry then time to water.

i am stuck now. are they hungry or overfed or n deficiency or nute lockout or what is it..

keep it real.

New growth looks happy and healthy, I wouldn’t change much. She could be shedding some of her old leaves that aren’t getting much light. maybe check the ppm of the tap water you’re using and make sure it’s not crazy high before and after nutes. Autos tend to like a little less.
Less is more, don’t turn a small issue into a big problem.
also she’s still gonna want some N until flower stretch is over, could be around four or so weeks. Don’t cut out her veg food just yet.

what makes me worry is tips are yellowing almost on all leaves. but she is budding very fast now. growth rate seems very good to me comparing with first fail run.

also its started at my other plant. i have 4 plants now. 2 of them yellowing on tips but other two is not. they are more LST'd than other two. so they are more far away from light. feeding with same amount of water and nutes. maybe light distance and heat is issue? because my tent hitting 30C now with 40-45 at day 55-60 night humidity.

i cut 8-9 leaves (at least). one of leaf looks like this. others was very yellow.

i feel like i need them but dont want to kill my plant.

Cutting some off wont hurt the plant. Don’t stress it.
my plants are dying! :(

i have 4 plants and 3 of them is seriously losing leaves. they are wilting down and dying.

This is White Widow #1.

And this is White Widow #2.

IMG20220524120625.jpgIMG20220524120647.jpg

I didn't water them for 4 days. 5-6 cm of soil was dry but i just watered with nutes now. (6.3 pH with Advanced Nutrients Grow, Micro, Bloom. 4 mL for each liter as company chart says). Waiting to see results.

Maybe it was because of underwatering? Because i always read that they need water more when they are flowering.

What it could be? Because leaves are seriously wilting down and dying. :( Please help!

You have a few issues going on. Looks like lockout, overwatered, imo. Probably the overwatering is causing lockout?

i always water them when top deep few inch is dry. if its overwatering damn i just fed and water them :(

how i can save them now?
Top few inches dry, doesn't equal entire medium being dry enough. I use mulch, so my top layer is always moist. Good rule of thumb, if watering living soil... use 5-10%, water to soil volume. If using bottled nutes, water to ~20% runoff.
