Running hps 13/11 to increase yield

i honestly don't see it making a noticeable improvement to your yields. by the end of a 12 hour cycle, most of my plants are drooping a little, tired out from their days intense work, and are ready for some rest. if you give them another hour of light, they wouldn't make very good use of it, and would be losing an hour of recovery time
That dose make sense when you put it like that, I've just been reading that on 11/13 you get less yield but more resin and arouma, was just thinking getting the resin up and then switching back to 12/12 second half would maybe bulk it out a bit.

i can't tell you that won't work, i've never tried it. try it once, if it works, then kick ass, but again, i'm thinking it's not going to have a very noticeable effect...but i am far from omnipotent, and have been surprised before, so just because i'm dubious about something doesn't mean there is no point in trying it.

There's so many variables who knows?
I think 13/11 could finish them a bit quicker based on the reverse 11/13 taking longer ime.
Increasing the yeild idk but I'd be interested to find out?

I have run 11/13 for a long time, I don't think it does much in terms of impacting resin/aroma. I started doing it when I was getting into sativas and the dude that I knew who was very good at growing them ran that schedule to try and speed up the finish when doing stuff that would take 12+ weeks....want to say the explanation was based around the plants being more adapted to growing near the equator, could be pulling that out of my butt or could have been bro science.

I dont really notice much in terms of a yield reduction, it does seem to speed it up, so I continue to use 11/13.

Edit: am talking 11 on, 13 off.
