Strange bug

Any body seen one of these before? Looks like a giant thrip! Lol they don't seem to be doing any damage.

That's a leafhopper. They are deadly if very many of them.

ASAP get double sided YELLOW sticky traps. Leafhoppers are attracted to them. Also, I dust with DE. That will discourage them and others. Some people like dusting with it and some think it's a waste. I don't have leafhoppers. What can I say?

BTW, those are the ones that make small holes and cause the Leaf to start dying.

Thanks. Ive seen the colorful ones. Makes sense. Ill see what I can do. These olants are out in the woods guerilla style, so I don't have much access right now In the middle of moving. The dont seem to be causing any harm though.

I had this more colorful variety on mine a few years ago outdoors. Plant was fine, and i let the leafhopper live on.
