Less irate today so here’s useful stuff that’s not just a grumpy asshole bitching that people don’t read.

for organics easy/cheap:
1 part peat, 1 part perlite(or vermiculite, or
, 1 part compost/earth worm castings blend(ratio depends on budget, I probably use more ewc than necessary at 50/50)

per 10gallons of mix
1/4 cup of lime or gypsum
1/4 cup diatomaceous earth
1 cup dr earth(or similar) tomato fertilizer
a few tablespoons of biochar(I’m playing with this one rn I have some with more, some with less and some with none)

If hand watering %10 water volume to soil 20% if you let it dry out to much or have to be gone for awhile.

for lighting use the calculator at cocoforcannabis.com to see how much light you need for the size of your grow space then shop around you’ll find something to fit your budget or rethink the size of your space.

for non organic cheap/easy
50/50 peat/perlite(or vermiculite)

Per 10gal
1/4cup lime or gypsum. That’s it

feed, jacks 20-10-20(or similar) at ph of 6ish at the right concentration for growth stage

0.5ish seedlings/clones
1ish veg
1.5+ flower

I stalked this site for years before joining or even starting a plant (and I was waiting for it to be legal outdoor for other reasons). However great, this site is also mixed in with countering opinions and threads full of fights to scroll thru. I am grateful for some of the people here because once you know who is a straight shooter it gets easier to dissect the available info. There def is a TON of good growers on here willing to share decades of experience and that is pretty damn cool on them.

There are lots of countering opinions as there are many different ways to accomplish a goal. A lot of the fights occur from people that think their way is the best. They also come from people that think they know what they are talking about but don’t.

Ya for sure, many ways to get to the end. The fighting is kinda entertaining and sometimes informative as well just was one thing that for me was a roadblock to what the OP was saying about “find a grow guide and follow it”. Go to PDFdrive.com and do a search for 'cannabis' and get all the best grow guides and some not so great ones too. Other formats than .pdf available too.
