Thanks! Yours are looking great as well. Every year is different, I never know what to expect. For me, this one is "so far so good", it has a lot of potential, but it ain't over until it's over. I had a few good years and I got complacent, and then last fall was a humbling reality check. So hopefully this summer I'll do better and maybe I'll get lucky as well, because it seems both are always involved.
Speaking of doing better... we had some rain last night I didn't see coming and I woke up to wet plants. Covered the screen-house with some plastic and got an oscillating fan in there this morning, they seemed to dry off fine and are protected from tonight's rain.
Most are just young buds and I'm not too worried about them getting wet at this point, but a couple are further along with bigger buds, so I'm really hoping to keep water and mold off of those. Man, the Pineapple Sunrise is smelling great and it's showing purple (Roc seems to have a lot of purple in his genetics). The whole space is starting to get funky, another couple of weeks and it's going to be a nose-full.
Some are starting to get frosty...

Eight weeks gone, who knows how many more to go, here's some Sunday morning pictures taken before the sun hits them. I'm a pretty lazy grower and this is a large group for me, I do the best I can but they don't get individual care. When one looks hungry, they all get fed, when one gets light enough to need water, they all get watered. Everything averages out in the end and that's all I have bandwidth for this season.
It's getting crowded in there. Ignore the visual distortion, this pic was taken in "pano" mode to get them all in the frame. It makes the ones up front look much bigger than they are, but other than that gives an idea of the lot of them.
Some individual shots: The Brooklyn Sunrise which was the little runt is now one of the tallest. 'Bubba Livers' has filled out to a great shape. The Jammy Dodgers is the shortest by far, sitting south of the two biggest girls. The Pineapple Express is the furthest along and stacking nicely. The two that look like twins (and are the largest/tallest in the group) are a 'Sam Stomper' and Green Crack -- very different breeders and genetics, but look almost identical. The Bruce Banner is a bit disappointingly small, but it was put outside early, and it also smells really sweet. Lastly is the 'Cosmic Smile', two of my favorite strains crossed (Cosmic Queen x Mango Smile) so I have high hopes for that one.

Able to feed much more outdoors. Indoors I was at 2ml grow per L was enough to keep a plant green until flowers start forming. Even with 3ml per L these girls are starting to yellow! Maybe the small pots but must be to do with light intensity and humidity. Was 76 today and 60%rh so perfect conditions. Topped dressed some worm castings and now at 3ml grow and 1ml bloom for added P during flowering development.
Largest one is bang on 3ft tall

Thanks man, I hope they all finish this year. I'm going to try and really cut back watering towards the end, I think heavy watering might have contributed to my late season mold last year.
I've read all of one article on plants and UV, so if a little knowledge is a dangerous thing... But it seems like some types of UV helps speed up plant growth, and other types of UV light degrades the plants, so both types could be stressors that cause it to cycle through nutrients more quickly. It makes some sense to me, but I'm just scratching the surface on understanding the interaction of UV and plant metabolism. And that's undoubtedly as far as I'll go.
Yours are looking great as well! How often do you have to water? One upside of smaller airpots is that with more frequent watering, there are more opportunities to feed them.

Wasnt aware of UV effecting them like that, makes sense tho!
I’m aware of lower the RH the more transpiration which means nutrients are being pulled into the leaves faster. This causes the classic N tox curl you see. Especially when coupled with a fan which provides a constant breeze stripping moisture even faster.
Thanks dude! Coming along now. Well for the big girl I had to water her twice yesterday! So I might transplant her now cause come full budding time I’m not going to water her in the middle of the night. Thinking a 15L final pot should work

Seems like with my 5 gallon regular plastic pots with the insulation wrap, I'm watering about every 3 days. I tend to soak them and then let them get light between waterings. I'm careful not to let them droop or dry out too much, I'm hoping there's some 'living' going on in the soil and I want to keep it that way. I'm not doing full organic "living soil", but I am using mycorrhiza so I'd like to keep the little fungi wet and happy.
Today is supposed to hit 98º, tomorrow 91º, so I'm sure they'll get an extra watering. Then it's back to what has been normal for this region (excluding the extreme summers we've had recently), mostly highs in the low 80's. Generally good weather for growing things.

Yeah there’s a happy range with peat. Believe it’s between 15/25% moisture. Wish I was every 3 days. Think it’s the constant wind stripping the moisture. It’s not just warm but warm and windy.
There’s lots of microbial activity in your soil which is what you’re trying to keep happy. I remind myself that the plants appearance is a direct reflection of the rootzone. Rootzone happy = greenery happy.
That’s hot! Especially for us. Warmest it’s ever been in Scotland is 90f. Average summer July temp here is a measly 64f :/ You’ve got ideal conditions!
Hope that kosher cake is not a one off and is really this cold tolerant. Just wish she was a little less smelly. It’s undeniable skunk aroma can be smelt many feet away when it gets warm. Good for me tho. I smell a sweet lemon note to it as well

I'm seeing a lot more northern climates going legal around here (Canada, and some northern states in the US), so there is more demand for mold and cold resistant strains, hopefully the breeders will respond to those needs. I have total respect for growers and strains that can finish in difficult environments. Mine's not perfect, a few hundred miles south of here is much better, but when we have a good year it is really nice.
I'm curious, what is your concern with the smell of your plant? For me, I live on a busy road and the garden is on the sunny side, which is the street side of the yard. One year I had a plant ripped off, so that's always in the back of my mind. At the moment only the Pineapple Sunrise is in full bloom, but another month from now, if things continue as they are going, the smell will be thick.

Random Sunday morning pics, finishing the 9th week... it's hard to capture some aspects because the space is getting small -- things like how the tallest ones are about twice as tall as the shortest ones. One plant is probably a week from coming down, others are more like 4-6 weeks. That part I like, it spreads the harvest process out. And the last pic looks like there is PM, but it's bird shit.
Last year I grew in 5, 7, and 10 gallon pots, and only the 5's needed frequent feeding. This year because of physical issues I had to move to all 5's, so there is a lot more yellowing going on as I try to keep up with these hungry girls. And I mentioned I was watering every 3 days, but now they're getting thirstier, and it's moving towards every 2 days.

@Humanrob Looking great man! Aye the smaller pots yellow much quicker I’m finding. Knew it was the case but it’s relentless with these girls, especially the big one. Got a P def due to only using grow and added bloom in now the def stopped. Caught me off guard cause it yellowed first before turning brown, thought it was low N!
This purple punch is the best smelling plant I’ve ever smelt. Took some fan leaves off to expose bud sites and even the sap smells like berries!

Looking good! Who is the breeder on the Purple Punch? My only purple plant this time around is Roc's Pineapple Express, and it smells sort of sour and funky. It was the fastest to mature, it'll be done in about a week, but the other side of that coin is that it's one of the smallest. Fast finish seems to equate to shorter veg/growth time, I guess.
Chasing the yellowing has been a challenge. I gave up on trying to diagnose most leaf issues, because too much of one thing can look like too little of something else, I'm just not that good at knowing the difference. The only signs I look for are pale often means not enough N, tip curl means too much N, and yellow tips (nute burn) means too much everything (?). I've got one plant with pale leaves and signs of nute burn (too much P, not enough N?). I sometimes look for signs of Calcium deficiency, but that seems to be more of an indoor thing.
When I think they have one or two weeks left I try to trim leaves away from the buds to let them get more sunlight. I've read so much conflicting information about trimming late in flower, but it seems to be OK. This year since I'm having so much yellowing I'm going light on the trimming, trying to lean towards keeping the leaves since my feeding appears to be insufficient and the plant seems to need them to feed off of. Just an idea, not sure if it's based in anything real.
I hope the heat isn't too much for you out there. We had that "heat bubble" last year, so I feel your pain. I had to take my shirt off, soak it in cold water and then put it back on periodically during the hottest part of the afternoon. Stay hydrated, and not just the plants!

Nute burn tips are orange/brown. The yellow is something else. I’m leaning towards copper def. always seems to be in stretch I get yellow tips which then go black after a few weeks. Some strains more than others. Same on the outside girls
Also to add to the confusion my purple punch which is by fastbuds, her fan leaves yellowed which were blocking most of her other leaves/bud sites before the lowest leaves yellow at all! Like she wanted to shed them lol

First ever grow here. Feeling grateful for this sunny weather after a rough June — Very resilient plants.
All sorts of stuff here: Green Crack, Gelato, GG#4, Amnesia, Norther Lights x2, another one called Annunaki. Most are at week 5-6, a few others at week 3.5.

Looking good! Nice selection, they look really healthy. Hopefully the weather will continue to cooperate. Starting Monday we have a 5 day stretch of temps breaking 100º. I guess that's the new normal. Not as bad as last year's "heat bubble", but still more heat than I prefer.
