Will this be too much at full power without co2? I just return a 650 r because I need more height so the diablo is a better choice but is it really too much? I’m gonna keep it pretty high as I really train my plants a lot

They are pretty much same light other than more boards for spread and bigger driver right? Not like they are any thinner to gain any height. The only way I see how you can gain height is by removing the driver and mounting outside your grow area. Both are great lights and both have dimmers so you don’t need to run them at full blast. I would recommend to get a ppfd meter to take some readings so you can dial it in for your space and setup. Hope it works out for ya.

The Scorpion Diablo has a dimmer dial so you can dial down your wattage if you think it's too bright.

I'm on my second grow with the SD, the first run I produced 40% more than a black dog with clones from the first grow.

Love the Diablo, highly recommend it.

When the light is spread out there is less of a hotspot, which is why you would need extra height.

That's not cool but worst things could happen right? Lol! Do you have multiple Diablos at 3'+ high & 4' to center apart? Big grow space?

You need more hight off your plants w/ the r spec or more power to hang higher?
You did say Diablo & RSpec. Not Scorpions right?

take this as a grain of salt, I've been on here & gotten bad advice, do what you think is best, go what you feel you should do, like the microwave & the oven bid of drying bid we did back then, they think they know it all, but I mentioned the new era of freeze drying, cost a lot but well worth it, it cuts your drying time to a 3rd, & THEY ATTACKED ME? don't even know the technologies of modern cannabis I SWEAR, take as a lessoned learned from me, as the trimmers ran around 4 grand, the freeze dry machine 7500, sounds intriguing
