Is it just me or everytime i turn my ac on the ppm levels goes up on my co2 controller or its the controller whos trippin?
Does an AC can bump up co2 ppm levels??

Maybe air movement if you have no fans in dark cycle but A/c ? No

yeah i know but its really doing it like right now ive got it set to between 700 and 850 ppm and when i turn it on its goes up to 1050 ppm

Fans are kept on 24/7 just the co2 is off when lights shut down

Temperature usually throws off sensors, and skews the readings. Does it take a few minutes for the reading to go up, as it gets colder in the room?

yes exactly, when i let it run for a couple hours it tends to drop near what its supposed to but it really seems to affect the sensors even after that long. Its a second hand grozone co2r that i just bought for 150 bucks and everything seems to work alright except that ac bump.

It says that controller comes with 3 lint filters to protect the sensor. Perhaps putting a new filter over the sensor might help?

Maybe you could trick the AC into coming on before the light and c02. With a small heater on a timer or something, just enough to kick on the AC. Pre cool the sensor off, so it is giving more acurate readings when its time to run.. if that makes sense?. And about the lint filters, I have no idea really, but my troubleshooting brain wants to think its clogged and acting more like insulation, lol.

beware the dreaded Google Search. The question asked was about CO2. The information that the HVAC source provided is based on the more common questions about Carbon Monoxide ie CO. (in which case, the A/C isn't creating CO2, it's moving it around.
