As far as fascism - i'm not convinced fascism is the best way - sure it's better than anything leftism (communism/liberalism/conservatism) has to offer but that's not saying much.

We live in a global society and in increasingly multicultural societies, you are pissing against the wind. People come here by plane and stay connected to their original countries and cultures using the internet, they can go back to India for weddings, family visits and vacations etc. The populations of many countries are crashing and immigrants are in high demand and necessary to keep inflation down and innovation up. Not many Europeans want to come to America these days, populations are down there and the living is pretty good. So it's the brown folks on offer, from central and south America, or Africa and the middle east, Asians tend to be better educated, but things have improved there too. Muslims have lot's of kids and there are plenty of those available. So it's a shrinking population or immigration, that's not to mention all those white kids who are increasingly under the influence of the internet and the larger global culture too.
Looks like the republicans have painted themselves into a corner demographically speaking and it will get worse as time goes on, their brand has turned to shit for a couple of generations. Liberalism means freedom under the constitution and rule of law, it tends to become more inclusive over time and it was first land owners then included black males and then female suffrage just 102 years ago. The female vote over abortion and family planning rights is another thing the republicans have to worry about this election. Minding your own business about people's sex lives, reproductive rights and religion would be a useful lesson here, along with not being racist assholes waging cold civil war on their own country.

We are often disappointed when we see the sentencing guidelines for some of the crimes these assholes committed. However the sentencing guidelines, precedents and standards for getting his cock caught in this particular meat grinder are very harsh. Many judges believe in equality under the law, especially when they are under the public spot light and Donald's crimes here were particularly bad, considering the levels of classifications, the opportunities given to him and the fact Trump said they belonged to him and not Uncle Sam, would be aggravating factors. The hundreds of death threats the jury, judge and his family will get before he is sentenced might also be a factor in where he does his time, as will the safety of those guarding him.
