Light green tips

Hi Guys,

I’m a little puzzled at what’s happening with my plant at the moment.
I live in NSW Australia
My setup is an absolute cheapskate noob operation in my bedroom, i’m actually shocked it’s made it this far considering i’m using a $20 (200w full spectrum hydro grow light) off ebay inside a literal corrugated cardboard box lined with reflective tape on the inside and base, i also cover the top with a black microfibre to trap the light. I turn the light on at 5pm & off at 7am.
I used cocopeat with nutrients as the soil with plenty of perlite throughout & i use simple npk nutrients paired with worm castings.

If somebody could help me out with why the tips are turning a lighter green & slightly curling in some places. Possibly light burn?

Cheers guys much appreciated.

Got nice air movement in this grow box?, with outtake to keep it in a good temp range?

And yeah light maybe abit too close.

Got 2 handle-sized holes in the side of the box, possibly too small for the right ventilation but I wouldn't have an actual clue if there's good intake & outtake.
Should i make them bigger? thanks

Nutrients or pH is my guess.

Edit: Oh shit. Just noticed it sounds like you're trying coco with organics.
Yeah im full sending coco with the cheap gardening fertilizers, like I said I expected it to die before the first nodes came in but it's still kicking on somehow lol.
Is it too late to attempt better nutrients actually suited to growing bud?

The coco i use is a mixture between soil & coco so it already has general nutrients in the soil but nothing exciting.
And when i changed the pot to a bigger one i put a generous amount of worm castings throughout the soil, I also sprayed the base with SeaSol Gold spray which seemed to do justice at an early age, i also put a ring of the npk crystal thingos around the edges of the pot to slowly absorb into the soil. Ive only scattered the npk twice but i give it a generous spray of the seaweed shit every now n then.

What is the NPK you're giving exactly?

Well experimenting with indoor is fun, but thats all this will be...i wouldn't expect much out of it other than some knowledge and it's always best to start off small like you are doing, and you doing it well so far. But for it to be even worth your while you gotta get a decent setup for the whole grow/ ph tester/ proper nutrients from the grow shop with just coco and perlite is a good mix. Don't even bother with soil unless you doing it outdoors because it's just more trouble than it's worth if you don't know what you are doing. Speaking of outdoor our season is starting very soon :hump:

I'm using the same slow release in a $3 Bunnings Coco brick with some perlite lol. It's going fine so far. Will be interesting to see how it pans out. Mid way through week 3.
