First time uk grow

Good evening everyone, I have recently bought myself everything needed to start a grow, anyway my only concern is the smell so I have ordered a carbon filter which many people have told me will do the job but I’m still a little bit paranoid and was just wondering on anyone’s opinion who grows in the uk? Should be fine as long as you set the carbon filter up right. not sure how long a budget filter lasts if you have that one or a branded one like rhino. but I use the rhino ones and haven’t had to replace it but today I’m pretty sure its starting to leak through a bit and will replace it in next few days with the same one as don’t think a budget one lasts as long but could be wrong. This one lasted a long time and only though about changing it today.

I do believe the brand of the filter is gardeners corner, just hoping it covers smells and I don’t get arrested hahaha

Everything looks gd except the light maybe needs upgrade. Filter will do its job popular name brand or not. I think they put the starter kits together just to push a cheap light so they can make a profit. I doubt if it's truly 1000watts. For a 4x4 tent that's excessive anyway imo. I believe 400-600watts range would be gd for that size set up.

Yeah that light is most probably 100w and not good you need 4-6 of them. you would need a other fan aswell prefer a 6inch and can turn it down as only comes with one and had a quick look but can’t see the size of the fan. I use a 465w Zeus light for flower and there not cheap then again growing weed with the right stuff is not cheap unless looking for 2nd hand stuff. That light just be okay for the first 2 to 4 weeks depending how many plants you have or you need two if more then 2 to 3 plants.coco drys out fast too so you need to water alot more to soil which for first grows I imagine is alot harder as I only grow in soil.

Thanks for the help lads, there’s a good couple reviews on a 220 package there and no one seemed to complain about anything, are they allowed to state it’s a 1000w light if in fact it isn’t?

Yeah alot of cheap ones say there a 1000w but nowhere near that and will be 100w. Them reviews on Amazon might not be growing cannabis but just a house plant etc you be better buying the bits rather then a setup like that but your looking at around £ 800-1000 for everything unless you can get 2nd hand stuff. eBay has some good cheap tents and fans if trying budget but the good led light will cost the most but will be worth it in the long run.

Yeah I would look at a different site to Amazon would be a lot better start ups elsewhere as that’s not everything you need for a whole grow too. And with set ups they tend to cost more if you buy like that to if just brought everything single too.

I’m so new to it all I’m really unsure on where to be begin looking, I’ve already got a couple of fans so I’m good for that. Do you know of anywhere I could look, I’ve tried fb marketplace too but nothing on there for my area

Mate that light is worst then the other one and I don’t think you should do first grow in coco you need to look into growing more or you waste money and time.

Everything u need is on Amazon. If u tell me what u need and tryna spend I can help a lil. There's also a post about deals but dont just grab any light cus they not all the same.
