Lumii has at least been around for a while... Is that price with or without the ballast? It's a weird one. Runs on a Lumii HPS ballast.

Is it a led driver if it is actually a HPS ballast, but used to drive leds? I guess so, but it's not incorrect to say it is a ballast.

Maybe hps doesn't sell and they have some extra ballasts?
Honestly, I have idea. It would be handy when changing over from hps to led if the leds worked with any digital hps ballast, but they seem adamant you only use the lumii black ballasts.

Maybe these 2 devices share some similar integral parts and they just had to add a converter to their old ballast.

Is it a ballast though, or a driver inside of a typical ballast housing? There aren't many LEDs which operate off a ballast, and if they do, they still need an internal driver and are generally inefficient. My guess is that they are just putting a driver in a ballast housing, so that they don't need to manufacturer too many different parts.
