Giant fan leaves

Taking a poll of sorts or if someone knows please reply.
When is the ideal time to remove those giant fan leaves, I mean those big giant suckers. I remove 1 around week 2 if the plant is healthy and growing rapidly of course. But I never remove more than one at a time because I'm scared of shocking the plant, So if anyone knows the best time to remove them, please speak up. I know they consume a ton of energy but also help the plant.

Why are you removing leaves at week 2?

At this stage there is no reason to defoliate, you'd just be taking away energy that fuels plant growth and bud formation. Right now it looks like all your leaves are getting light, which is a good thing
THank you very much..

Im also running 4 airdomes with 15 liters of oxygen an hour being pumped to the roots. I laid in about 3 inches of hydro pebbles placed the airdome, them filled the pot with coco, I turned on the pump at week one and the differences are pretty obvious, I think I have enough plants for a control group. If you been thinking about auto pots and air domes . You can use the airdomes with coco and hydro pebbles. These plants with the domes are about 30% bigger than the others, they're tied down 90 degrees but are gobbling water and growing a bit faster. I hope it pays off with the weight at the end

In veg leave the leaves until you are ready to lollypop ahead of the flip to flower. That's what I'd do.
I sort of do that too unless its a problem and totally covering a vital area...So it sounds like Im on track. Im a firm believer in lollypopping . It pays off big time and removing those tiny little popcorn buds when they show up and skinny limbs with 1 node and anything below the light line I also wont grow without enzymes, microbes and aminos

I'm right there with you on lollypopping, I just don't think 2 weeks is a good time to start removing healthy leaves.
