Stop being a cynical jerk, for starters.
I've been nothing but nice to everyone on this website, then I was accused of being, or supporting a fascist twice in this thread. I'm the jerk?

I'll never post in a political thread again. Never

you are so right. You just came here to express your viewpoint that because what Biden did wasn't everything you want, you are unhappy. That's not unreasonable. If you review your posts, you must admit what you you said could be interpreted as cynical. I never called you fascist, I said Bernie was a tool of fascists. And I pointed out that voting against fascists is not an act of fear but an act of opposition to them.

But I can understand if your feelings got hurt.

My explanation appears not to have been well-received.

Good move on Biden's part anyways.... "Can I get your vote?".. It needs to be decriminalized anyways. Having Cannabis as a Schedule 1 (along with heroin and LSD) is criminal in itself. But, he should be focusing on more important things like... IDK.... keeping WW3 from happening??.. even tho today he said we were closer to it now since 1962.

Kind of hard for Joe to do much , as the Four Horseman of Apocalypse ( Trump , Putin , XI , KimJung ) are ready to destroy life as we know it.

Cowinkydink ?
Probably ….. but sometimes the cosmos shows us humans foreshadowing in patterns .

IDK man... he's turned his back on domestic production and left the door open for OPEC+ to control the oil market. I know that this week (so far) that all of the energy stocks have gone up 1-5 bucks a share Mon-today. Last 3-4 weeks have been tough in the energy sector, but they seem to be rebounding since the OPEC announcement. So, I'd expect gas prices to increase through the 4th quarter.

I'm often critical of Biden, and although I did vote for him, I haven't been exceptionally happy with him. That said, I do think it's worth celebrating these small but important gestures towards cannabis legalization, even it it really is just a token gesture.

I voted for Trump... even tho I cringe at some of the things that had come out of his mouth. Bottom line is.. none of them are who "We the People" would like to have steering this ship. Seems like the past 2-3 sitting Presidents have started a divide, and I hate to see that. But the division is strong these days.

I got defensive. It's been a tough year. You make some valid points. Alright... that was my last politics post.
It has been a tough year. As Trump said, only he can make things better. And as you pointed out, Biden didn't do everything you want so you'd rather have nothing. Now, I can see how people would prefer fascists over Biden. But you aren't fascist. So yeah, don't vote and let the fascist party win this fall. It won't be your fault if you just don't vote. After all voting would show you are afraid of them.

I'm sorry you had such a rough time in this forum. Thanks for helping me understand.

I know we're talking about decriminalization from a Schedule 1.... but this is nothing but a vote grab attempt. Even tho I support it, he's grasping at straws. What has he "built back better"? If anything.. it's been built back worse. I do hope that those 6500ish non violent cannabis offenders do get released, and can get back to normal lives and contribute to society... you ever see "Locked up Abroad"... those people got thier shit together after spending months, or years behind bars in another Country, and made influential businesses based on thier experience to help others.

He has done two incomparable things:

1) stopped the criminal dismantling of the Social Security system

2) stopped the emplacement of fascist judges throughout the courts.

Compare and contrast with Repugs.

vitally important things that I do not understand your belittling.
Not belittling... It's just that I think he could have done more in the past couple of years. Backing out on student load debt is a kick in the nuts from a promise to a redaction. It's stuff like that which makes me wonder if he's really for the people. Now all of the sudden to redact anyone under the FEEL program... and now they are excluded. Promise and exclusion after the fact is suspicious. This is going to turn into a lawsuit from people who have already paid their debt.
