These fuc*ing thing are a nightmare from DE treatment with Neem oil to a wash I go down to my drying room and I put an led just to see what’s going on and all the sudden I see little brown assholes running up to the top stem for a fiesta. Obviously, my buds aren’t gonna be ZaZa anymore which hurts my heart RAH! Sorry, anyways - I maliciously got soap water and brushed ONLY the topmost stem then hand killed a gross worm and Winger****aphid (has wings) the white hasn’t destroyed either plant - maybe a few buds off branches and parts of a cola.
Question: any idea or ride it out? I’d imagine if they ran because of light I’ll just keep killing the horde. They’re close to cut down and the leaves are gone. Fuck me

Ladybugs are the best solution I've found to aphid infestations. The problem is that you need them to accept the plant as home, lay eggs, then let the larvae feast as they grow. You have to have aphids for them to stay in the first place, (food source), then you gotta wait like 3 weeks for them to lay eggs and clean the plant. But once they settle, they rip through the aphids like a bunch of stoners with the munchies at an all you can eat buffet. You'd probably still want to wash the plant before you smoked it to get rid of any debris or exoskeletons left behind, but the aphids should be minimal afterwards.

Sorry to say if you are close to harvest, ladybugs probably won't work though.

once plant is drying they wont stay there and will leave , before they dony youll even see them usually on the stems and trying to figure out where to go.

i suggest pinching the colonies there and there ya go. U prolly wont even see any once its fully dried .
