Only a moron bases their vote on the price of an internationally traded commodity, the production of which is largely beyond their government's control. However, there do appear to be a lot of morons in America, and they don't need high gas prices or historically low unemployment to be stupid, they just need an excuse. Do they think the republicans will manage the country better, or do they think the republicans will just get the people they don't like? Trading in responsible, sane government for what the republicans are offering and considering their recent history, requires some powerful motivation.

It's kinda obvious when the slightest moral or ethical slip could cost a democrat their job, while the republicans are running the scum of the earth, perverts and felons of every description, the news is constantly full of their crimes and misdeeds. Not only Donald can do no wrong, apparently many of their candidates can too. They seem to pay no price for treason and being assholes in general, however we will see in November, maybe, abortion, J6 and even the war in Ukraine can tip the balance.

The heat on Donald is white hot and it must be sinking in that after the election he's fucked, no matter who wins. I expect he will be freaking out in the coming days, the republicans winning the house won't help him at all, he will be in federal prison by the time they take their seats, if they win and something tells me they may not.

Try to stay in the now, for example: 80% of Americans disagree with you on every aspect of this issue. 54% of Democrats even. That 54% however will only disagree in anonymous polling and not to your face or any quasi public fashion.
