Harvest before the leaves die/curl up into bud?

One of my bud sites is looking bad. In a day or 2 the leaf necrosis will likely move up into the bud, so do I cut this bud site off when that happens? Or leave it to finish & take my chances with possible bud rot.

Atleast a month until that would be ready...I'd be starting a new plant and learning to feed properly for next run.

You can do what I've been doing and that's very carefully cutting them out from underneath with nail scissors and then pull them out of the bud. I bleached my tops bad with the new light and I've been chasing dying leaves for a bit. It's a pain but if the sugar leaves are still healthy then I'm going to try and nurse it as far as possible. I'd try to wait as long as you can.
